I agree, Indian call centres and tech support, for all the hype, botch up on the job miserably. I had a horrid time calling up Epson and Touchtel for help.

Well, call centers and other BPO stuff may be good for India right now ... just to inject some money into the economy, but what I would really like to see in India is a buildup of knowhow. We have to rise above these job levels and become the best in the industry ... otherwise one fine day some other country with cheaper costs might just overrun our economy !!?
