True, with a sleight of hand, any good movie maker can show/prove more or less anything he wants. But I guess the message of the movie was not about facts only. As I understood, the movie suggests that apart from the so called "WMD", there probably were other reasons to go to war. War is evil. The rich benefit, and the poor die. This is the way its been for centuries, nothing extra-ordinary for in this case. What I REALLY dislike is that the callous attitude he takes towards all of this. And how so-very little was done in preparation of the war. There was shaky intelligence and lots of rhetoric. How can a country of apparently "educated" people put up with all this?
But I guess the most startling fact [that cannot be ruled wrong], is that only ONE senator has a family member serving in Iraq. Oh how convinient it is to decide on extension of the troops, when you don't have a near and dear one fighting. If he is SO convinced that what he is doing in Iraq is righteous and holy and how it'll breed democracy, then why doesn't he send his daughters to be a part of the US Army in Iraq ... Oh wait, they are druggies !!!
